Senior Project Engineer / Project Engineer for Thermal Power Plants
Your Tasks
- Lead mechanical or process engineer for waste-to-energy, anaerobic digestion, or biogas systems
- Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, and tender documents
- Support feasibility studies, concept design, project developments phases
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, electrical, environmental) and lead technical discussions
- Review contractor designs and supervise installation and commissioning activities on site if needed
- Ensure compliance with international standards, local regulations, and safety requirements
- Provide technical support during project development, EPC procurement, construction, and commissioning phases as needed
- Conduct site visits and inspections across project locations
- Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge transfer within the team
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in industrial or infrastructure projects
- Proven experience preferably in waste-to-energy, or biogas/anaerobic digestion projects or as a minimum thermal power generation projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including pumps, piping, gas handling systems, and thermal processes
- Proficient in developing P&IDs, PFDs, layouts, Heat and mass balances, equipment sizing methods, data sheets and technical specifications
- Experience in international engineering consultancy or EPC environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and project execution frameworks is an advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Expertise with modern IT solutions such as Excel, PowerPoint SharePoint environment, task automation tools
- Experience working in Southeast Asia and preferably international working experience
- Knowledge of applicable and rising technologies
- Ability to work in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- Critical thinking and strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong report background and skills in report writing and development of technical documents
- Filipino national or work permit for the Philippines must be available
