Professional education and training
In the course of your work, you may decide that you wish to commence a course of study or undertake further training while still working. We appreciate and encourage this commitment, and will contribute to the costs of your subject-related further education while allowing you the time you need.

Language is the key to communicating with our colleagues and clients from all over the world. Learn or brush up on your German, English, French or Spanish in our in-house language courses.

Our experienced staff regularly hold in-house presentations to share their knowledge with colleagues from other departments. The Fichtner Summer School
As an employer and consultancy firm providing long-term engineering and planning services, we nurture the next generation of engineers by systematically sharing our technical expertise. Every year for one week in late summer, junior staff can exchange ideas with experienced engineers on various topics relating to the potential of innovative energy solutions. In teams made up of international experts, the participants develop concepts and strategies to then directly put into practice their new-found knowledge by developing consultancy solutions.
Trainee positions
Every year, we train IT specialists for system integration and application development as well as assistants for office management. Through professional practice as well as by attending vocational college classes, you will acquire the skills you need to get you started directly in one of our technical departments after you complete your training.
Bachelor- / Bachelor projects, master theses and internships
At our company, you link theoretical knowledge with practical experience: Fichtner offers qualified and motivated candidates internships as well as jobs for working students with the chance to work on their degree thesis on a company-specific topic. You will be looked after and supported by your supervisor, an experienced professional engineer.
