Applying for a Job

Have you found the right position for yourself in our job portal? Or would you like to send us an unsolicited application? Then we appreciate your interest. In just a few steps, we will show you how to apply for a job with us.

Applying for a job at Fichtner is quick and easy.


We always have your documents checked personally by our trained recruiters.

For a successful application, we need your CV, relevant references, details of your earliest possible starting date, and your salary expectations.

A cover letter is not a required part of your application, but it helps us get to know you a little better.

application process

  • In the Fichtner job portal, you will find an overview of all vacancies within the Fichtner Group.
  • Have you found a job that suits you? At the end of each job description, you will find the “Apply now” button. There you can enter your personal details and then submit an official application. After receiving your application, we will check as soon as possible whether your profile fits the vacancy. We need a few days for this process.
  • If we are impressed by your application, we will invite you to an initial interview (virtual or on-site) to learn more about you and, of course, answer any questions you may have. At least one interview will take place in person at one of our FICHTNER locations.

  • If we are a good match for each other, we will get back to you within a few days with a binding decision.



In order to give our new employees the best possible start at Fichtner, intensive onboarding begins from the first day of work. During this time, you will get to know your new colleagues, your new working environment and the most important processes. At Fichtner, you will quickly start working independently! We use a combination of mentoring and on-the-job training to facilitate this. After only a short time, you will be working on your own tasks together with the team from your specialist field.

How do I know which position is still vacant? svg icon

Quite simply, all advertised positions are currently vacant. In some cases, we hire several people for one position.


How do I apply for a job at Fichtner? svg icon

Please apply exclusively via our job portal.


Is it possible to apply for more than one position? svg icon

We recommend that you apply for only one position. Pick the one you think is the best fit. Our recruiting team always checks whether your profile could also be interesting for another vacancy in the company. If this is the case, we will consult with you about it.


Can I apply even if I am currently unable to attend an interview in person (due to a stay abroad, for example)? svg icon

Yes, you certainly can. In that case, any initial interview would then take place virtually.


What documents are needed for the application? svg icon

Is there a maximum file size for data attachments (CV, references, etc.)? svg icon

No, there isn’t.

Can changes be made or documents exchanged or submitted after the application has been sent? svg icon

No. Should you wish to submit additional information, please get in touch with the contact person responsible for the job.


How long will the applicant data be stored in the database? svg icon

Your applicant data will be automatically deleted from our system six months after receipt of the application.
