Workplace and working hours
30 vacation days, flexible working hours without core working hours and mobile working - working in consulting brings challenges and demands flexibility. We offer the freedom to balance work and private life and create needs-based solutions.
Flexitime & mobile working
Our flexible system of working hours allows you to adjust your working day to suit the orders on hand and the project status. At the same time, we offer you the opportunity to also work from home in order to achieve a better balance between work and family. Any overtime hours you accumulate can be offset by up to six flexitime days per quarter.
Canteen
Tasty and wholesome meals at subsidized prices for staff – whether organic, vegetarian or vegan, regional or international, our canteen at our Stuttgart home office provides you with fresh, daily changing menus. At our other locations in Germany, we offer subsidies for meals.
Childcare Stuttgart
To ensure that your youngsters are well looked after during working hours, we have reserved places for our staff’s children in a daycare center near our Stuttgart home office. In addition, we will provide emergency childcare if your regular childcare is canceled at short notice.
Annual leave
At Fichtner, you have 30 days of paid vacation per year. Over Christmas and the New Year, we close our offices to give our staff the chance to have an extended period of rest and relaxation.
Sabbatical & additional leave
If staff have been with the company for a lengthy period, they can apply to take extended leave as a sabbatical to pursue their personal goals after consulting with their supervisor. Various sabbatical models are available for our staff. You also have the option of foregoing a part of your salary to take additional leave.
Payments for long service anniversaries and special occasions
Many years of loyalty to the company are rewarded: For a landmark anniversary of years at the company, we pay up to two gross monthly salaries. Furthermore, you will be granted a special payment when you celebrate your wedding or the birth of a child.
Special leave
When a child is ill, it is always a special situation for parents and can be very demanding - including in terms of time. In some cases, child sickness benefit paid by the health insurance fund is not enough to compensate for the actual loss of income resulting from the lost working days. At Fichtner, we support you in this special situation by paying a subsidy and helping to compensate for your actual net loss of income.
