Senior Electrical Engineer as Consultant / Expert in the Field of Substations and Electrical Installations (m/f/x)
Your Tasks
- Conceptual Design Planning substations, including primary and secondary system components as well as protection systems
- Actively supervising all project participants with the aim of keeping the actual progress of the project in line with the planning
- Ensuring that clients’ requirements are met
- Ensuring that the project is handled in accordance with the requirements set out internally with regard to quality, compliance, occupational health & safety, environmental protection, and information securityPreparing requirements specifications comprising invitation-to-tender texts, specifications, data sheets, drawings and layouts
- Comparing and evaluating bids / functional specifications versus requirements specificationsDesign documentation review, construction supervision, and witnessing of acceptance tests
Your Profile
- Master’s degree or equivalent in the field of electrical engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in the field of power transmission, especially substations and switchgear
- Professional consultancy services experience in the planning and construction of substations
- Fluency in English, both written and oral
- Experience as a project manager would be an advantage, but is not essential
- Willingness to travel (approx. 20-25%) in order to attend to regional and international projects focused on ASEAN countries
- Philippine national or work permit for the Philippines must be available
