Senior Lead Photovoltaic Engineer
Your Tasks
- Working on implementation of utility-scale PV, PV-hybrid, and BESS projects, e.g. feasibility studies, technical due diligences, tendering
- Collaborating in various project phases, from concept to contract negotiation to construction and commissioning
- Cooperate closely with internal, external and international stakeholders, e.g. project developers, suppliers, energy providers, lenders
- Actively supporting the development of sales activities and project implementation in Morocco and in the African continent, with a focus in French speaking countries.
- Performing site visits and meetings in different project phases and different countries
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in engineering or related fields (electrical, energy, civil, or similar)
- At least eight (8) years of professional experience as technical consultant in the field of photovoltaic and hybrid systems, preferably in Morocco, MENA and other regions
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Interacting open and friendly with project partners from different cultural backgrounds
- Willingness to travel as part of project work, as needed
- Experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is a plus
- Existing network with potential local clients and partners
- Fluency in French and English is essential, further language skills such Arabic are a plus
- Very good communication skills for interacting with international colleagues and external stakeholders
