Your Tasks
- Coordination of project implementation in the countries of the region, mostly in the fields of water supply and sanitation, with a strong focus on our activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This includes in particular (always in cooperation with the respective office managers and project managers on site): contract management, controlling of project resources, quality control, coordination with business partners and freelancers, invoicing and payment tracking, claim management and control of project funds
- Customer support on site and from the head office in Germany
- Regular travels to the region
- Supervision and direction of the FWT offices in the region
- Active participation in business development and sales activities in the region. This includes amongst others the observation of the markets, the identification and assessment of business opportunities and suitable partners, the elaboration of Expressions of Interest and technical and financial proposals as well as the follow-up of proposals
- Occasional technical assistance in projects or project management in the region or elsewhere
- In the longer term, it is basically possible to take over the responsibility for an additional or even a different region
Your Profile
- University degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Supply and Sanitation, Process/Environmental Technology or similar (Dipl.-Ing. or M.Eng./M.Sc. degree)
- Profound expertise and at least 8 years of relevant professional experience
- Working experience in an international context, preferably in Middle East
- Strong power of persuasion, commitment, team spirit and leadership skills
- Independent, structured, responsible and efficient approach to work
- Very good command of German and English
