Your Tasks

  • Conceptual Design and Feasibility Studies: Prepare power plant conceptual design studies, feasibility studies, lenders engineer and independent engineer projects, and technical due diligence assessments for the acquisition of power plants.
  • Project Development and Negotiations: Lead and structure processes for EPC tendering projects, negotiations with EPC contractors, IPP bidding projects, PPA negotiations, and overall power project development.
  • Project Management: Lead and structure processes for Owner’s Engineer scope, including Project Management, Design Review, Construction Supervision, and Commissioning Supervision until COD.
  • Technical Consulting and Reporting: Participate in technical consulting assignments and prepare internal and client reports as required.
  • Quality Control & Process Improvement: Perform continuous quality control on any deliverables prepared by any discipline engineer within the project team. The Project Manager shall continuously look for opportunities to streamline the project execution process through standardization to reduce repetitive human errors
  • Proposal Preparation: Opportunity to expand role to include proposal preparation for experienced candidates.

Your Profile

  • Higher professional degree in mechanical, process, or other relevant fields for power sector projects (M.Sc. or B.Sc.).
  • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in power utilities, independent power producers, equipment suppliers, consultancy, or engineering companies. Recent experience with consultancy firms is preferred.
  • As an experienced engineer, open and friendly interaction with clients and project partners from different cultural backgrounds comes naturally to you.
  • Willingness to travel as part of project work in ASEAN countries and other countries beyond the region.
  • Excellent knowledge of English in writing, speaking, and listening is a must (candidates will have interviews in English).
