Engineer for Planning and Energy Yield Assessment of Wind Power Stations (m/f/x)
Your Tasks
- Preparing energy yield assessments for wind power projects before and after commissioning
- Improving methods for energy yield assessment
- Preparing and assessing noise and shadow assessments
- Developing new products (in relation to energy yield assessments)
- Developing wind farm layouts, performing micrositing and selecting wind turbines
- Preparing feasibility studies
- Assisting with preparing proposals for our services
- Providing professional consultancy to our clients in the field of wind power
- Project management - Coordinating with external and internal project partners and assisting with due diligence projects
Your Profile
- Several years of professional experience in the onshore and/or offshore wind energy industry
- Several years of experience in the field of wind energy yield assessment
- Experience with established standard software (WindPRO, WAsP, Windographer)
- Experience with CFD and/or mesoscale models would be an advantage
- Experience with relevant standards and guidelines (e.g. IEC, FGW TG6, TG10)
- Experience in developing and implementing wind power projects
- Experience in conducting and evaluating wind measurements
- Project management experience
- Very good English skills and ideally an additional language
- Willingness to travel as part of project work
- Valid work permit for Spain

About The Division
This division handles the engineering of all projects for power generation on the basis of renewable energies. Our Wind Power department with its team of 18 employees based in Germany and Spain handles both onshore and offshore wind power projects. It provides the entire spectrum of services from project concept through to commissioning of the wind farm, and also supports clients with corresponding operation & maintenance concepts.
