Your Tasks
- Performing power system studies and consulting projects in the field of high-voltage technology, both nationally and internationally
- Assisting in preparing proposals
- Resource planning
- Project budget planning and control
- Costing & scheduling
- Conducting negotiations with potential clients
- Conducting power system studies (load flow, short circuit, stability studies, dynamic simulations)
- Preparing, analyzing and evaluating grid expansion plans
Your Profile
- Master’s degree or higher, preferably with a focus on electrical power engineering
- Minimum of eight years professional expertise as (deputy) project manager in the field of power system studies/power system analyses (load flow, short circuit, stability studies, dynamic simulations, harmonics, controller models, protection settings, HVDC simulation), grid expansion planning, EMC calculations, EMT studies, HVDC systems, preparation of master plans, integration of renewable energies
- Knowledge of relevant power system analysis software (e.g. DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD, Integral, PSSE)
- Ability to work in a team and good communication skills
- Experience in the consulting business would be an advantage
- Business fluent in English and confident working in an international environment
- Willingness to travel within Germany and in other countries
